External Fixation Distraction

The external traction and fixation technique is a common male penile lengthening surgery that primarily involves releasing the suspensory ligament and combining it with an external traction and fixation method. This process releases the portion of the corpus cavernosum normally concealed within the pubic bone, thereby increasing the visible length of the penis in its flaccid state. Some Korean men's hospitals may also employ postoperative external extenders to stabilize the area, reduce re-adhesion of the ligament, and enhance the lengthening outcome.
