He is a board-certified member of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Korean Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Korean Society of Craniofacial Plastic Surgery. He completed advanced training in plastic surgery at UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center).
