Graduated from the Graduate School of Medicine at Pusan National University, completed doctoral coursework in plastic surgery. Completed research training at the University of Chicago Medical Center in the United States. Is an international member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), academic committee member of the Korean Association for Oculoplastic Surgery, and a formal member of the Korean Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Korean Anti-Aging Research Association, Korean Society of Craniofacial Plastic Surgery, and the Rhinoplasty Research Group of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
