Kang Kyung-won, President and Chief Physician. An emergency medicine specialist with a Doctor of Medicine degree from Chosun University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Bundang CHA Hospital, CHA University, and obtained board certification in emergency medicine. Previously served as a Clinical Instructor at Severance Hospital, Seoul National University (subspecialty: Critical Care Medicine), Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Jeju National University Hospital, and conducted advanced studies at Augusta University Medical Center in the United States. Currently a full member and former planning committee member, as well as former public relations committee member, of the Korean Society for Emergency Medicine; a full member and emergency medical guidance physician of the Korean Association of Emergency Physicians; an American Heart Association-certified Basic Life Support (BLS) instructor and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) instructor; a medical committee member at the Jeju Victim Support Center for Crime Victims; and a full member of the Korean Obesity Research Society.
