Graduated from the School of Medicine at Soonchunhyang University and completed dermatology residency training at Soonchunhyang University Hospital. Previously served as a research fellow in the Department of Dermatology at Severance Hospital, Yonsei University, and as an assistant professor in the Department of Dermatology at Soonchunhyang University Bucheon Hospital. A regular member of the Korean Dermatological Association; a member of the International Academic Committee of the Korean Society for Anti-Aging Dermatology; a council member of the Korean Atopic Dermatitis Association; and a regular member of both the Korean Society of Clinical Dermatology and the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
